French DJ and
producer Stephan
M is a major
player and
household name
in the House
music scene for
already so many
years.
Stephan started
his career in
1985 with an
advent of
various radio
shows. First, on
a local radio
station (FM 91),
then in 1989
broadcasting his
own show "Les
Disques a la
Demande" on NRJ,
Europe’s leading
radio station.
Radio exposure
led him to dj at
some of France’s
most elite clubs
and events. As
he emerged, his
talent quickly
earned guest
sets and
residencies
He’s held
residencies
throughout the
years at such
prestigious
Paris hot spots
as Central,Les
Bains Douches
and mythical
club Le Palace
to name a few.
After many years
headlining the
International
venues, he took
a decision to
concentrate on
production.
In 1997,Stephan
started his
first ventures
in the studio,
writing and
producing the
track " The
Concept of Love
" (remixed later
by George
Acosta) for
Miami based
label’s SFP
Records who
became an
instant club
classic played
all over the
U.S.
Few years later,
he started
producing tracks
for both U.S &
European Music
Library, later
being sold for
use in
television, as
well as remixing
Jennifer Lopez "
Waiting For
Tonight ", Chi
Chi Peralta (Top
Latin artist)
and “ Ebar “ One
Track Mind “for
NYC based label
Sifted
recordings.
In 2002, Stephan
is one of the
first French
Artists to sign
with Legendary
record label
based in Miami
SFP Records
(Sounds For
People) with a
first solo
release on Deep
Touch Black "
African Journey
“who led to big
results!
Stephan’s tribal
Mixes proved
hugely popular
among tougher
DJ’s such as Hex
Hector, Pete
Heller, Roger
Sanchez and
Graeme Park.
For the 2
following years
Stephan has
released
numerous tracks
on SFP labels, "
The Tribe Has
Spoken (ending
up second most
selling house
record in
Spain), appeared
on compilations
like " Privilege
Ibiza 2003,
"Sound Factory
NYC", " Salon de
Mezclas", just
to name a few.
" Marabou " who
became " Single
Of The Week ” in
the UK and
reached top 20
in DJ Mag Hype
Chart. "

In 2004,Saeed
Younan's remix
was one the Top

5 weeks.
"Snake Charmer"
was another of
Stephan tribal
adventure,
featured on top
selling

Radio1 Essential
Tracks " and "
Glamour Mykonos
" in Greece,
International
All-stars DJ Mag
Compilation.
Over the past
years, he’s
reached the
pinnacle of
production being
featured on some
of House music’s
biggest labels
such as infamous
Swedish label

John Dahlback’s
“Pickadoll”,
Ministry of
Sound, Erick
Morillo’s
“Subliminal”,
EDX’s “PinkStar”,
Cedric Gervais’s

He proves to be
on top of the
game as he’s
been
commissioned to
remix for some
the best-selling
artists and
greats such as
Bob Sinclar,

Gelderblom,
Antoine Clamaran,
Thomas Gold and
Richard Grey

others which he

In 2008, he hit
the top of the
charts on

his witty remix
of “Strike Me
Down” which kept
its spot for a
dedicated 2
months and was

any and every DJ
worldwide.

radio mix show

“wich is
currently
syndicated
weekly in more

countries.
