Ooh La La is a song by 31-year-old singer Britney Spears, which will appear on the soundtrack to the upcoming summer family movie Smurfs 2. The song has been dedicated to Brit’s sons Sean Preston and Jayden James. Its producers and writers include Dr Luke and Bonnie McKee. Spears will be the second popster connected with the film: Katy Perry is set to return as the voice of Smurfette. The Smurfs 2 hits theaters on July 31.

13 May: Dizzee Rascal feat Robbie Williams - Goin’ Crazy

Goin’ Crazy is the lead single by British MC and producer Dizzee Rascal, from his forthcoming album “The Fifth”, which will be released on 17 June through his own Dirtee Stank label. The song is a collaboration with Robbie Williams and is set to be released in the UK on June 16. The video, directed by Andreas Nilsson, sees the pair indulging in a Quadrophenia style homage as they ride through LA on their own souped up scooters.

Feel This Moment is a new single by rapper Pitbull from his upcoming album, “Global Warming”, due out November 12th. The track, produced by Lucas Secon, samples A-ha’s 1985 hit “Take On Me” and features pop singer Christina Aguilera. In the lyrics Pitbull is making a reference to the best selling trilogy, 50 Shades of Grey.

Carry On is the third single by American alternative rock/indie pop band Fun, from their second studio album, “Some Nights”. The album was released on February 21, 2012 through Fueled by Ramen and peaked at number 3 on the US Billboard 200 chart.

The Spirit Indestructible is the fifth studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Nelly Furtado. "Waiting For The Night" is the third European single, and was sent to German radios on October 8, 2012.


24 Oct: Green Day - Stray Heart

Stray Heart is the lead single by American punk rock band Green Day, from their the second in the trilogy of albums, “¡Dos!”, which is slated to become available on November 13th. The track premiered October 8, on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio program. As Green Day Authority notes, the track is in a garage rock style that the band had previously experimented with in their Foxboro Hot Tubs side project. Details on when the music video is going to be released has not been classified yet.

Metropolis is a single by French DJ and producer David Guetta and Dutch newcomer Nicky Romero, released on October 19, through Guetta’s new label Jack Back Records. Romero has attained a joint residency with David Guetta at party hot spot Ibiza for the summer of 2012. The video for the song was directed by Mr. Brainwash, a famous Los Angeles street artist whose real name is Thierry Guetta.

I’m Shakin’ is he fourth single from Jack White’s debut solo album, “Blunderbuss”, which was released on April 23, 2012 through White’s own label Third Man Records in association with XL Recordings and Columbia Records. This is the only song on the album that wasn’t written by White, it was penned by Rudy Toombs. The song was originally released in the 60’s by Little Willie John and then was covered by The Blasters in 1981.

The track was produced by Rick Rubin and written by Del Rey and Justin Parker, who collaborated on the “Born To Die” title track and breakout hit “Video Games.” The music video for “Ride” is rumored to be set in Nevada’s Valley of Fire with sole production from Del Rey.


29 Sep: Marina And The Diamonds - How To Be A Heartbreaker
"How to Be a Heartbreaker" is a song written and performed by Welsh singer-songwriter Marina and the Diamonds taken from the US Edition of her sophomore album, "Electra Heart". The song was written a week after finishing the UK version of the album, and therefore does not appear on that edition, but is featured as track 12 on the US version. It is due to be released as her third UK single and her second international single sometime in September 2012. Marina confirmed to Digital Spy that 'How to Be a Heartbreaker' will be released in the UK on 15 October 2012.

Flower is a song by Australian pop singer and songwriter Kylie Minogue, written by herself and Steve Anderson of Brothers in Rhythm for Minogue’s tenth studio album “X” but it didn’t make the final cut. In 2011, the song was re-recorded at London’s Abbey Road Studios for the orchestral compilation album “The Abbey Road Sessions.” The track was released as the first single from the album on 25 September 2012 by Parlophone Records.

29 Aug: will.i.am - Reach For The Stars
Reach for the Stars is a promo single by hip hop singer and producer Will.i.am, from his upcoming fourth studio album, “willpower”, which is currently due for release worldwide on October 15, 2012. The song was written for the recent landing of the Curiosity rover, part of NASA’s sixth Mars flagship mission, Mars Science Laboratory. NASA had confirmed during the MSL launch tweet-up on November 24 that Adams had partnered with NASA to deliver a song for the MSL landing. Entitled “Reach for the Stars (Mars Edition)“, the single was released on August 28, 2012.

"Radioactive" will be released as the album's second single in the United States. This was confirmed by Ora during her interview on 96.5 KISS FM in Cleveland. On May 22, 2012 Iglesias performed at the first Q102 Springle Ball 2012 concert, among the songs he performed were "Tonight I'm Loving You", "Hero", and "I Like It". His new single is titled "Finally Found You" and has the collaboration of American rapper Sammy Adams. The single surfaced online on August 24, 2012. It is the lead single from his upcoming second bilingual album.

It was recorded during the Machine Head sessions in December 1971. Metallica announced in the Summer of 2012 that they would cover the song as a part of the star-studded tribute to Deep Purple's "Machine Head" album.

The song had it’s live premiere at the Swedish House Mafia’s Milton Keynes Bowl concert and debuted on the radio on Pete Tong’s Radio One show on the 10th of August. The Swedish electronic dance music trio consists of three house DJ’s and producers, Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso. The track, which features John Martin, is rumored to be their last as a group.
