31 Oct: Britney Spears - 3

"3" is a song by American pop singer Britney Spears, from her upcoming second greatest hits compilation, The Singles Collection. It was released as the lead single of the album on September 29, 2009 by Jive Records. The music video was filmed on October 5 and October 6, 2009 in Los Angeles, California, directed by Diane Martel and choreographed by Tone & Rich. On October 15, 2009, a sneak peak of the video in images was released. A countdown including images and video previews was announced on her official website and the release date was revealed to be on October 30, 2009.


30 Oct: Flo Rida - Touch Me

New video from Flo-Rida's sophomore album, "R.O.O.T.S." This one is for "Touch Me," and Trina is featured as a video vixen in the clip.


29 Oct: David Vendetta - I Hope She Turns Around

David vendetta (DJ / Producer / Remixer / Radio Personality) returns with force releasing "I Hope She Turns Around", the first official single of his new album!


28 Oct: Chris Brown feat Lil Wayne & Swizz Beatz - I Can Transform Ya

"I Can Transform Ya" is the first single of Chris Brown's upcoming third album Graffiti. The song features Lil Wayne and Swizz Beatz, who also produced the song. The song makes heavy references to the Transformers line of robot-like toys, which is likely inspired by the box office success of the live-action films Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. The video premiered on October 27 at 6am on MTV Hits, MTV Jams AND MTV.com. The music video starts by Chris Brown spray painting the name of the single and it's all the singers dancing and the transforming from there.The video also features Chris Brown dancing around with nunchucks.


27 Oct: Frankie Goes To Hollywood - Relax (2009 Lockout Remix)

Revered electronic music trendsetter SHARAM makes his boldest studio statement yet. The disc's landmark track "She Came Along" meshes elements of Patsy Cline's legendary country song "Strange" with vocals by hip-hop sensation Kid Cudi. The end result is one of the most uniquely infectious songs of 2009.


26 Oct: Mika - Rain (Seamus Haji Big Love Remix)

Mika is out with Benny Benassi and Seamus Haji Big Love remixes for his new single ‘Rain’. Both remixes are featured on the iTunes digital download.

24 Oct: Sharam feat Kid Cudi - She Came Along

Revered electronic music trendsetter SHARAM makes his boldest studio statement yet. The disc's landmark track "She Came Along" meshes elements of Patsy Cline's legendary country song "Strange" with vocals by hip-hop sensation Kid Cudi. The end result is one of the most uniquely infectious songs of 2009.


23 Oct: Cassette Kids - Lying Around

There is a Cassette Kids album is out next year but the first single, 'Lying Around', kicks things off right now. There are a lot of things to enjoy about this tune, which seems to situate the band in a post-Noisettes, post-Ladyhawke, post-Dragonette sort of pop 'milieu' and signals big things ahead for the band.


22 Oct: Agnes - I Need You Now

Swedish pop singer Agnes releases 'I Need You Now' - the follow-up to her top three hit 'Release Me' - on November 16.


21 Oct: Alicia Keys - Doesn't Mean Anything

"Doesn't Mean Anything" is a song by American recording artist Alicia Keys. It was released as the lead single of her fourth studio album, The Element of Freedom. The music video for "Doesn't Mean Anything" was filmed from September 27-28, 2009. It was directed by P. R. Brown. The video was released on October 19, 2009.


20 Oct: Lily Allen - Who'd Have Known

"Who'd Have Known" is a song by British recording artist Lily Allen from her second studio album, It's Not Me, It's You. Written by Allen and Greg Kurstin, while sampling Take That's single "Shine", the song will be released as the fourth single from the album in the United Kingdom on 23 November 2009.


19 Oct: Leona Lewis - Happy

"Happy" is a song performed by British pop singer Leona Lewis. It was written by Lewis, Ryan Tedder and Evan "Kidd" Bogart and produced by Tedder for Lewis's second album Echo. It was released on 15 September 2009, in the USA and Canada, serving as the album's worldwide lead single. The video for "Happy" was filmed in Cuba and directed by Jake Nava on 29 September 2009. It premiered on UK music channel The Box on 17 October 2009.

Week 42 (12-18 Oct)

17 Oct: Stereophonics - Innoccent

"Innocent" is a single due to be released on 9th November 2009 by Welsh rock band Stereophonics. It is going to be included on their 7th studio album, Keep Calm and Carry On, which is released a week later on 16th November 2009.


16 Oct: Jem - I Want You To

Jem's debut album "Finally Woken" did fairly well and resulted in a collaboration with Madonna - Jem penned "Nothing Fails" on the "American Life" album. She finally completed her second album "Down To Earth", and the video for the Strictly Come Dancing-tastic lead single "I Want You To" has just been released. "I Want You To" will be released on November 2nd.


15 Oct: La Roux - I'm Not Your Toy

"I'm Not Your Toy" is the fourth single released by the British electropop duo, from La Roux's self-titled debut album. The song was officially announced as a single on August 27 2009 via e-mail from the official website. The setting of the video appears to be a futuristic spa with tropical plants & fruits with a swimming pool.


14 Oct: Will Young - Hopes And Fears

"Hopes & Fears" a song by Will Young, to be released as the first single from his first greatest hits album, The Hits and his 14th overall. The video was shot in London's Millennium College during the second week of September 2009, and was directed by Chris Sweeney who has recently directed videos for the Freemasons featuring Sophie Ellis Bextor track "Heartbreak Make Me a Dancer", and Paris for the indie band Friendly Fires. It is said that the video contains dancers. In the video, Young appears as a pregnant man.


13 Oct: Black Eyed Peas - Meet Me Halfway

"Meet Me Halfway" is the third official single and was the third promotional single by Black Eyed Peas, taken from their 5th studio album The E.N.D.. The song was released as a promotional single, as part of the "Countdown to The E.N.D." where 3 album tracks were released once each week until the release of the album.


12 Oct: Within Temptation feat Chris Jones - Utopia

"Utopia" is the first single from the Dutch rock band Within Temptation's live album An Acoustic Night At The Theatre. The song features guest vocals from Chris Jones, a British singer. Jones was also a guest vocalist on Armin van Buuren's album "Imagine", performing on the track Going Wrong. The single will be released on October 23rd, 2009.

Week 41 (5-11 Oct)

10 Oct: Agent X feat Mutya Buena - Falling

Agent X are out with the video to their brand new single 'Falling', which features Mutya Buena and Ultra on vocals. The song is out soon on 3Beat.


09 Oct: One Republic - All The Right Moves

"All the Right Moves" is a song written by OneRepublic for the band's next album Waking Up, released to mainstream radio on September 29, 2009 and released for digital download on October 6th, 2009. It is the band's first single of the album for all countries except Germany, where "Secrets" serves as the first single from the new album. On October 8, 2009 the official music video premiered on Vh1.com & mtv.com. The video was directed by Wayne Isham.


08 Oct: Ou Est Le Swimming Pool - Dance The Way I Feel

Ou Est Le Swimming Pool - a new electropop trio from London - release debut single 'Dance The Way I Feel' on November 9.


07 Oct: Thoneick, Diaz & Young Rebels - Perfect Moment

Great vocal progressive track, remixed by the power duo Diaz & Young Rebels.


06 Oct: Mika - Blame It On The Girls

"Blame It On The Girls" is the upcoming second single from Mika's second studio album, The Boy Who Knew Too Much. The song was produced and mixed by Greg Wells. The music video for "Blame It On the Girls" was directed by Meiert Avis, and premiered on 3 October, 2009 in the United Kingdom on Channel 4.


05 Oct: T2 feat H-Boogie - Better Off As Friends

T2 - the producer who scored a top three hit with 'Heartbroken' in 2007 - has teamed up with H-Boogie - Estelle's sister - for 'Better Off As Friends'. Released on November 22.

03 Oct: Erik Hassle - Hurtful

Swedish pop singer Erik Hassle releases 'Hurtful' - the follow-up to his debut single 'Don't Bring Flowers' - on November 2.


02 Oct: Foo Fighters - Wheels

"Wheels" is a single from the Foo Fighters' compilation album, Greatest Hits, which premiered on radio on September 23, 2009. The single was officially released on September 29, 2009. The song had its live premiere at the White House as part of an Independence Day celebration honoring military service members. "Wheels" and "Word Forward" were recorded specifically for the compilation with producer Butch Vig. A new video for the song directed by Sam Brown is slated to appear on a DVD that will be included on some versions of the compilation CD.

"TiK ToK" is a song by American recording artist, Ke$ha. It acts as the first single from her upcoming debut studio album yet to be titled. It was released digitally in the United States on August 7, 2009. An accompanying music video for the song has been shot and released. Simon Rex makes a cameo appearance as a character named Barry in the video.


28 Sep: Carrie Underwood - Cowboy Casanova

"Cowboy Casanova" is the title of a song written by Brett James, Mike Elizondo, and co-written and recorded by American country artist Carrie Underwood. It was officially released on September 14, 2009, and it serves as the lead-off single to her third studio album, Play On, which is slated for a November release via Arista Nashville. A music video was filmed on September 2, 2009, at an undisclosed location; it is scheduled to premiere during CMT's Big New Music Weekend.
