31 Oct:  Daniel Powter - Best Of Me

"Best Of Me" is the second single from the album "Under The Radar", this is the third studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Daniel Powter and follows his 2005 self-titled sophomore album. The album was released in September 2008 in Europe and will be released in early 2009 in the U.S. The single it will be released on 17 November 2008.


30 Oct:  Chris Brown feat Keri Hilson - Superhuman

"Superhuman" is the second single released by Chris Brown from the album Exclusive: The Forever Editon, and the sixth single overall off Exclusive. The song features Keri Hilson.


29 Oct:  Sugababes - No Can Do

The second single "No Can Do" was reported on Popjustice and gave it a less favourable review than their previous single stating "This is by no means the best song on the new Sugababes album but someone somewhere evidently likes it because it's the second single - out Christmas week perhaps (ie probably not) with a remix featuring sleigh bells." However, the review ends by stating that the song is "above average". Released: December 22, 2008.


28 Oct:  Miley Cyrus - Fly On The Wall

"Fly on the Wall" is the third single from the album "Breakout". It aired on Radio Disney in August 9, 2008, but only released mainstream on November 4, 2008. Cyrus performed the song on the closing ceremonies at the Disney Channel Games; she also performed it on Good Morning America and NBC's Today as part of there summer concert series. On August 2, 2008 Cyrus performed "Fly on the Wall" alongside "7 Things" on FNMTVpremieres. "Fly on the Wall" made its debut on the Canadian Hot 100 at #73.


27 Oct:  Duffy - Rain On Your Parade

"Rain on Your Parade" is an R&B/soul song recorded by Welsh singer Duffy. The song will be released as the fifth single from her debut album Rockferry, and as the first single off Rockferry: Deluxe Edition. The UK release currently stands at 17 November 2008, several weeks before the release of the deluxe edition of her debut album.


26 Oct:  Smashing Pumpkins - G.L.O.W.

"G.L.O.W." is a single by the alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins. It premiered on Chicago alternative rock station Q101 on September 29, 2008.


25 Oct:  Ace Of Base - Wheel Of Fortune 2009

Ace of Base is releasing their Greatest Hits CD/DVD, Greatest Hits, Classic Remixes and Music Videos on November 10, 2008. The 3-disc set includes one CD with the hits, a second CD containing remixes, and the third disc, a DVD containing all the music videos. The package is three gold-Digipak and comes in a slip case. Along with the set is are new liner notes, with photographs. Three new remixes, "The sign 2009", "Wheel of Fortune 2009" and "Don't Turn Around 2009" are included. "Wheel of fortune 2009" will be released worldwide on October 24 as the lead single of the Greatest Hits album.


24 Oct:  Guns N' Roses - Chinese Democracy

"Chinese Democracy" is a hard rock song by Guns N' Roses, and the title track from their sixth studio album, Chinese Democracy. The song was released as a radio single on October 22, 2008. It is Guns N' Roses' twenty-first single.


23 Oct:  Simply Red - Go Now

Simply Red will release a 'Greatest Hits 25' double CD on 17th November 2008, featuring the new single ‘Go Now’, released on 10th November 2008. The release comprises 25 tracks on a double CD including ‘Go Now’, a cover of The Moody Blues heart-rending classic. A limited edition 3 disc set with a 25 track DVD will also be available.


22 Oct:  James Blunt - Love Love Love

James Blunt's new single Love, Love, Love is released on November 10th before a deluxe CD and DVD edition of his album All the Lost Souls hits the shelves on November 17th in Europe and the following week in the UK.


21 Oct:  Take That - Greatest Day

"Greatest Day" is an upcoming song by British group Take That from their upcoming album, The Circus. It was debuted on Chris Moyles' Radio programme on Radio 1 on 13 October 2008. It will be released on 24 November 2008.


20 Oct:  The Saturdays - Up

"Up" is the second single by British female five-piece The Saturdays. It followed their debut single, If This Is Love and was released on the 13th October 2008. The single received its first radio airplay on Radio 1's program 'Switch' (with Nick Grimshaw) on the 31st August 2008 at 8.40pm. The song is currently A-Listed on Radio 1's Playlist, meaning that "Up" is already more sucessful than the debut "If This Is Love". The song was also used in the American promos for Ugly Betty's third season.


19 Oct:  Craig David - Insomnia

"Insomnia" is Craig's first single to be taken from his new "Greatest Hits" album. Produced by Jim Beanz from Timbaland productions, "Insomnia" is a hot dance track with hard bassline beats. The single will be released on November 17th a week ahead of the Greatest Hits album on November 24th.


18 Oct:  Eminem - I'm Having A Relapse

Eminem, voted the Best Rapper Alive recently by VIBE has finally returned with a new track "I'm Having A Relapse," probable the 1st single to be realesed from the album "Relapse", this is the sixth studio album by American rapper Eminem. It is scheduled for release in December 2008 by Interscope Records. Several close artists and collaborators with the rapper made mention of the album by various working titles including King Mathers and The Empact, before Eminem himself referred to the album by the title Relapse at an event held by Shade 45 on October 15, 2008.


17 Oct:  J. Blue feat Snoop Dogg - Hey

"Hey" is a new collab from L.A.-based singer J. Blue and Long Beache's Snoop Dogg. The song has a sluggishly grinding beat from Cali producers the NeXmen. J. Blue has already signed with them to their new label on Universal Motown, NeXLyfe. The NeXmen plan to put out J. Blue's debut The Blue Book: From The Block to the Bed, though a release date has not yet been established.


16 Oct:  David Cook - Light On

"Light On" is the first official single to be released from American Idol season 7 winner David Cook's major label debut studio album: David Cook (album). "Light On" was co-written by Soundgarden and Audioslave front man Chris Cornell, as well as famed producer/songwriter Brian Howes. The song was produced by Grammy winning producer Rob Cavallo, who has produced hits for Green Day and Kid Rock.


15 Oct:  Jadakiss feat Ne-Yo - By My Side

Jadakiss is back again with his newest single. The track is titled "By My Side", and it features R&B star Ne-Yo.


14 Oct:  Plain White T's - 1,2,3,4

"1,2,3,4" is a new single from pop/rock group Plain White T's. It's scheduled to be on the their 5th studio album, Big Bad World, which was realesed on September 23th 2008 by Hollywood Records. To promote the album, the Plain White T's launched a few webisodes, which together form the series Meet Me in California. "1,2,3,4" is so painfully formulaic especially on the heels on the other slow acoustic song, “Hey There Delilah”. Following the lead from a ton of other songs, "1,2,3,4" uses the numbers and counts them to try and explain how much they love someone.


13 Oct:  Keane - Lovers Are Losing

"The Lovers Are Losing" is a song performed and composed by English band Keane, to be released on October 20, 2008 as the second single from their third album, Perfect Symmetry. It was played for first the time on Hit40uk on August 24, 2008. The music video for the song was released on October 1, and features singer Tom Chaplin running through the wild and being shot.


12 Oct:  Lemar - If She Knew

Lemar is set to release his fourth studio album The Reason and the lead single, "If She Knew", in November 2008. The first single, "If She Knew", co-produced by SoulShock and Karlin, combines Lemar's heartfelt lyrics with layers of acoustic guitar. Lemar's signature balladry features on the album too, including the piano driven Mayday. He also, ventures back to his soul roots with the infectious Over You and the up tempo feel good track Heartbreaker produced by Jim Beanz (Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado) and Weight Of The World produced by Jim Johnson (Lil Wayne,Michelle Williams).


11 Oct: 50 Cent - Get Up

"Get Up" is the official first single by rapper 50 Cent from his upcoming fourth album, Before I Self Destruct. It is produced by Scott Storch. It was first released to 50 Cent's official MySpace as well as his personal internet community, ThisIs50.com, with it later being released onto his YouTube account, though the video has now been taken down from his YouTube.


10 Oct:  Beyonce - If I Were A Boy / Beyonce - Single Ladies (Put A Ring)

The songs "If I Were a Boy" and "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" were initially targeted to radio on October 7, 2008 however, they were premiered on the following day on selected radio stations in the United States. On the same day, a video was released by Knowles' record label Columbia, feauring footages on the making of the music videos to "If I Were a Boy" and "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)", and the photo shoot for the two songs and the album. A deluxe edition of the album has been confirmed.


9 Oct:  Akon feat Lil Wayne - I'm So Paid

The brand new Akon track featuring Lil Wayne, I'm So Paid. This is the second single, released from Akon’s upcoming album, Freedom, available in stores and online November 25th.


8 Oct:  Pussycat Dolls - I Hate This Part Right Here

“I Hate This Part” is the third single by Pussycat Dolls from their sophomore studio album Doll Domination and second in Australia and Europe . The single began receiving air play on New Zealand Top 40 radio stations on the 18th of September, as well as being released as a promotional single for Doll Domination.


7 Oct:  Coldplay - Lost!

"Lost!" is a song by English alternative rock band Coldplay, and is the third track and third single on the band's 2008 album Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends. "Lost!" was released as a promotional single in September 2008 and will be released as a four-track, download-only EP in November 2008. An acoustic piano version of the song, re-titled "Lost?", was also released as the B-side on the CD version of the album's first single "Violet Hill" and on the Japanese and iTunes Store editions of the album. On October 3, Chris Martin revealed on coldplay.com that a remix of the song featuring rapper Jay-Z will be released in a few weeks.


6 Oct:  Nickelback - Gotta Be Somebody

"Gotta Be Somebody" is the first official single to be released from Nickelback's sixth studio album, Dark Horse. Originally, the lead single from the album was set to be "If Today Was Your Last Day" but was changed instead to "Gotta Be Somebody". The song was digitally delivered to all formats on September 29, 2008. The song has already reached #1 on American iTunes Rock Chart and #3 on the overall top selling songs. The song is about searching for the right person to spend the rest of your life with, and deals with the fear of wondering if you may ever find that person.


5 Oct:  Madonna - Miles Away

"Miles Away" is a song by American singer-songwriter Madonna on her eleventh studio album, Hard Candy (2008). It was co-written and co-produced by Madonna, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake and Danja. It is the theme music for the Fuji TV drama Change in Japan, where it was released as a promotional single. French websites have reported that "Miles Away" is the third single from Hard Candy.


4 Oct:  T.I. feat Rihanna - Live Your Life

"Live Your Life" is a song by rapper T.I. off his sixth album Paper Trail. The song features pop singer Rihanna and was produced by Just Blaze. It was released as the fourth single from the album. The song was officially premiered at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards during T.I.'s performance. It was added to the Australian, New Zealand and Irish iTunes Stores on September 26, 2008.


3 Oct:  Nelly - One & Only

"One & Only" is a song by the American singer Nelly. It was written by Polow Da Don from the album Brass Knuckles, this is Nelly's fifth studio album released on September 16, 2008 after several delays. Brass Knuckles debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 selling 84,000 copies in its first week. It also debuted at #7 on the United World Chart with 116,000 units sold.


2 Oct:  Mariah Carey - I Stay In Love

"I Stay in Love" is a song written by Mariah Carey, Bryan-Michael Cox, Kasseem "Swizz Beatz" Dean, and Adonis Shropshire for Carey's eleventh studio album, E=MC˛. Produced by Carey and Cox, it will be released as the album's fourth single. "I Stay in Love" is scheduled to go for adds at Top 40/Mainstream and Rhythm/Crossover radio on October 21, 2008. A music video is to be shot in the second week of October.


1 Oct:  Rihanna feat Timbaland - Rehab

"Rehab" is the eighth single taken from Rihanna's third studio album, Good Girl Gone Bad (2007) in the US and the UK. It has also gained some radio play in the U.S. It was written by Justin Timberlake, Timbaland and Hannon Lane, with Timberlake and Timbaland contributed backing vocals in the bridge of the song. Timbaland also produced the song. The song was also played during the commercial for the 2008 comedy-drama film "The Family That Preys".


30 Sep:  Kid Rock - Roll On

"Roll On" is the 4th single off of Kid Rock's double platinum album Rock N Roll Jesus. It was shipped to radio on September 23, 2008. The music video was shot for it on August 12, 2008 in Detroit. The song deals with Kid Rock coming to terms with himself aging and talks of enjoying the time he has left with his family. It is an acoustic country ballad with gospel vocals provided by Jessica Wagner. The song incorporates jazz with a long saxophone solo by David McMurray.


29 Sep:  Britney Spears - Womanizer

"Womanizer" is a song by American pop singer Britney Spears. The song was recorded for her forthcoming sixth studio album, Circus. Announced as the lead single from the album, "Womanizer" was first released to radio stations in the United States on September 26, 2008, and it will be released as a CD single on November 3, 2008 in the United Kingdom. The song is currently at number 72 in U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Airplay. And also according to Z100 from New York, "Womanizer" has reached number one on their radio charts in just short of two days.


28 Sep:  Alicia Keys & Jack White - Another Way To Die

"Another Way to Die", performed by Alicia Keys and Jack White, is the theme song to the 2008 James Bond film, Quantum of Solace. Written and produced by White, who also plays the drums, the song is the first duet in the Bond film series. The single will be released as a limited edition of 6000 7" Vinyl in the US on September 30, 2008 and on October 6, 2008 in the UK.
